The St Anton ski season is set to open later this week and the clouds have gathered at the perfect time to ensure that the slopes will be nicely covered for the opening weekend. There is plenty of action planned in the village but for the skiers and snowboarders who descend on the village for this traditional bash, the snow will be greatly welcomed.
There are various forecasts flying around but generally there seems to be snow over the weekend and early next week once this present system has cleared the Arlberg over the next day. Saturday is looking particularly wintry so no need to go searching for the SPF 50 at this stage.
