Staying in St Anton hotel, guesthouse and apartment accommodation in St Anton.
There are endless places to stay in St Anton, but being the number ski area in Austria can have its drawbacks - St Anton accommodation over new year can be very difficult to find.
St Anton spreads out along the valley in a fairly narrow strip, hemmed in between the river on one side and the ski slopes that rise out of St Anton. The main pedestrian street runs the length of the centre of St Anton, whilst the main road through the Arlberg pass runs between the river and the village.
Central St Anton (St Anton Dorf) consists of a number of hotels and accommodation, some slopeside but most not far from the ski pistes and the main lift that accesses the ski area at St Anton, the Gaizelbahn. Most of the nightlife is located in this area and it is where the après ski continues after the Mooserwirt.
West of St Anton Dorf is Nasserein and further is St Jacob. Nasserein has a lift running up to Gampen in the heart if the ski area whilst St Jacob is not lift linked but is connected by a regular ski bus. Nasserein borders St Anton Dorf, whilst around a kilometer further is the start of St Jacob. In the other direction are the areas of Oberdorf, Gastig and then Stadle, Dengert and Moos. All these areas are connected by free ski bus.
